Last year he did critique and then dropped out for finals judging cause we were competing.

Directors for Valley prep, Ankeny PM + Int
Middle school/9th grade results

hey now... settle down over there.. all i was saying is i cant think of any other way to put it without sounding rude.. because obviously i missed something that the judges didnt.. I wasn't trying to sound rude but thats really the only way i can think of saying it.. so i suppose this is better??? i think VA would have jumped up to 1st RU and Urbandale would have won... thats all
i completely agree with tkai08 with ankeny moving ahead of urby.. we drove up from dport so we had no bias whatsoever and i really thought ankeny had it, even after prelims. Dont get me wrong hastings was a great group but ankeny was just spot on and soo sharp with choreo. Vocals just lacked a little dynamics but other than that i was amazed. maybe i just didnt see the little things. lol i guess this is why they dont pay me to judge but regardless of my opinion congrats to hastings, very fun show!

I just didnt see anything in Hastings show that made me want to keep watching... sorry for the rudeness of this but i just was really really surprised. haha Ankeny, you killed it in the finals! that show had an amazing amount of energy! and this show might actually be the first one in a while that i really do like. Keep it up!

Congrats to Hastings!!! Obviously this group is one to watch out for this year... they have been great in the past, but this year is one for the record books it looks like...let's convice them to come to Fairfield too if they could squeeze another group in

Urbandale leads Hastings by 2 in vocals.
Hastings leads Urbandale by 3 in visuals.
Urbandale is roughly 20 points in front of Ankeny.
Ankeny is roughly 2 in front of Valley.
Actually the 1 point difference was urby's band over ours. We lead them by 3 points total right now. Eeek. Things are CLOSE.
