Espirit did very well. Their choreography was really clean for so early in the season, and I LOVED the guy's ladder number.
I think what kept them out of the top 3 was their vocals...they were good, but they were very quiet. There wasn't much sound put out, and in an auditorium like Lebanon's, which is not acoustically friendly, it just wasn't enough.
Womens GC: New Castle Dynamiques
Womens 1RU: East Noble Premiere Edition
Mixed GC: Fort Wayne North Side Wave of Distinction
Mixed 1RU: East Noble Knight Rhythms
Mixed 2RU: New Castle Red Hot Blues
I have a tentative schedule for the day. This competition runs a workshop with critique after each performance from a judge in the morning, and a unique competition in the afternoon and evening - each choir is against every other choir, which pits mixed groups against female groups and even a school's female choir versus their mixed choir. Girls that are in both of their school's choirs have the unique experience of competing against themselves.
