i just wanted to congraulate BD on their win. I really enjoyed your show:D

I agree! Their Michael Jackson remix was great! And September was amazing as well. But my favorite was the ballad. The soloist was jaw-dropping.

well you are just an observer associated with a choir, so unless you are part of the Great River show choir, I doubt you'll be doing well or poorly at any competition.

WE....being an ALUMNI....I put observer because I don't want my thoughts reflected....and since we have to associate I had to put observer and not alumni

I guess I agree too....next time we do bad I'm going to tell everyone on the forum to stop all posting about it just for our sake....fair enough right?

unnecessary drama.

Something that SCC doesn't need anymore of, but I totally agree with you Claire.

It's completely natural for someone associated with a choir to be upset about a low ranking, and thus far both people that are upset have handled themselves well. They have made it clear they are upset strictly about the judging. I think it's a very honorable step to step back, take a look at the situation, and realize that whatever happened yesterday cannot be changed, and then to vocalize those sentiments. Those who have expressed their feelings of discontent have done so in a mature manner that I respect, and have takena mature step by deciding to end the conversation before it becomes unnecessary drama.

completely 100% agreed.

1 day after the competition this is no longer worth talking about? By many people you mean people from Teays Valley and Edgewood? I dont see many Norwell or Ben Davis people complaining.

this competition isn't worth talking about any longer. It was messed up all together and many people agree. I am over it all.

The score sheets I saw had edgewood in 2nd and tv in 3rd after prelims

Well Edgewood was ahead of TV after prelims, I dont have the judges totals handy now but i do remember it was close. The sheets KEVDOUG was looking at was only for the mixed groups. Because Norwell had both a mixed and girls group we could compare the scores from both sections. If you add the girls totals with the mixed it was as i said before for the day competition.

BD mixed
BD girls
Edgewood
Norwell Girls
TV
Norwell Mixed

I over reacted but give the groups who won some credit....or you can blame your short comings on the judges

I'm sorry but this isn't a site to be angry with other groups, it is only a site to congratulate everyone and say nothing bad about anyone so kevdoug and music warehouse your being rude

There is nothing rude about what has been said here, and we have to remember this site is open for discussion and opinions, they have both expressed their opinions in a better manner then most can/do.
