Thanks for remembering Mrs. Scrimpshire Michael!
Very sorry! Of course Mrs. Scrimpshire too! I was in the middle of homework when writing that post and totally didn't mean to leave her out. She's the best....We would've all died from boredom backstage before final awards if she hadn't gotten us all to do her "activity". haha.
Again, thanks to everyone involved. Saturday was an absolutely amazing day.
Congrats to Wyeth Silber and Laura Routh for Grand Champion and 1st Runner Up in the solo competiton! You girls were AMAZING.
I just wanted to give a big thank you to West Jones and the competition organizers. They have completely went the extra mile to make Saturday the best it can be for all groups. A lot of hard work has gone into this, and I want them to know that it is appreciated. This invitational is one of the smoothest, best organized, and fun competitions of our year.
Once again, thank you West Jones, Imagination, Sassy, Mr. Mizell, and Mrs. Meadows.
Class A yesterday included Stone High, Eufala, Sumrall, Lumberton, Wayne County, Pell City, and Pearl River Central. The results posted were correct.
Grand Champion: Sumrall Legacy
1st Runner up: Pell City Show Stoppers.
2nd Runner up: Pearl River Central Central Attractions
Thanks so much to West Jones for all their hard work yesterday! This was our first time there and we really enjoyed the experience!! Can't wait until next year!!
m not doubting the accuracy of the results, just a bit annoyed with the schedule we were given a couple of the months back. Could you post the schedule as it appeared in yesterday's program? Thanks.
I was told that Albertville was also moved up to Tier I for judging, but I don't know know for sure.
Also, Finals captions:
Best Vocals, Best Visuals, and Best Band all went to South Jones.
From the Schedule they handed out yesterday, PRCC and Pell City were both in Tier III. I believe those results are in fact accurate; could someone from West Jones verify?I'm not doubting the accuracy of the results, just a bit annoyed with the schedule we were given a couple of the months back. .. Pell City wasn't on the schedule we had, and PRC was in Tier II.
