Ah what a fun day. Well I guess I'll give my account of the events that happened on March 8 in Mundelein, IL
We are usually one of the schools who dresses nice for every competition, but not at this one. Our school b-ball team was playing in the state finals at 8 so our directors let us wear school shirts. Awesome. We lost, but 2nd in the state is nothing to be ashamed of.
Mt. Zion- Favorite group that I've seen this year. You guys seriously are great! From the opener to the closer I felt as if you had a high energy level. "What's your name" is an awesome song, and I think that it's dumb that you would get penalized in Petal for doing it
Hersey- You guys had some of the best vocals all day, but I felt as though Zion was better overall. The "Feeling Good" skirts were just a little too much I think. Remember that it is "high school" show choir. I also felt as though you guys did too many costume changes. Nothing wrong with the last few songs however. Good job

and they sang children will listen from into the woods !
well everyone was pretty much amazing and it was a awesome competition
i was just sad that the gym was so empty all the time compared to previous years and bearly anyone watched lights perform

I'd also like to see Terry Voss bears... Mike Esser bears... and Aaron Olson bears. Maybe even an April James bear... or better yet, a Damon Brown bear.
I'd buy an Aaron Olson bear if it came with a confetti cannon and a Seg-Way.
