Nice job Papillion! They struggled this season at their competitions in the midwest, so it was good to see that they did well here! They certainly deserved making finals! Their show was wonderful this year!
I also didn't get to see Anderson Highland!! I was a bit disappointed that I never saw them, from what I heard they were amazing.
The only shows I got to see were the end of Davenport, Papillion La Vista, and Waconia. From what I saw, everyone had amazing shows. I was really nervous about making finals!!! Great job to everyone!!!! Placing at a national competition was definitely the best way to round out a senior year!!!
And Congratulations to Damon, it was really nice to see 2 of his groups place in the top 3 at Showstoppers!! Thanks Damon for all of your hard work put into our show, we may not have believed in our show early on, but now I think everyone really gets what you put into it.
Florida weather was amazing, now I'm back at home and they are calling for 4-7 inches of snow for tomorrow, so I am very disappointed that I am home now.
Im pulling for Waconia!
Good Luck Power Company! I'm rooting for you!
Thanks!
A lot of us just got back today. We stayed for a few extra days in Disney and Tampa.
But this trip was AMAZING! The stage was so cool!
Except for when the wind caught my hair in the ballad....and It was ALL in my face. Beautiful. haha.
But great job to EVERYONE!
I wish I could have seen other shows, though :< I didn't get the chance to see ONE other group!
But it's ok.
Because I MET ALADDIN!
And we're getting married.
Yeah, The mis-information on who made finals was my fault. Milton was announced first, and I wasn't entirely paying attention to who was next because I was so excited, so to an excited me, Anderson Highland kinda sounded like Grand Island...
Showstoppers was amazing. I'm so happy that we did well, and it was the moste amazing feeling ever to perform to an audience like that and on a stage like that. I was in tears of joy during our patriotic closer in finals. It was an amazing thing to be singing about freedom, while looking out at a replica of Freedom Hall. Priceless.

Not sure which group sang the ballad about not being prince charming or something to that affect but it was beautiful and the soloist at the beginning was amazing.

Well our show choir season has come to an end, and I can't say I would've wanted it any other way.
I absolutely love Disney. Walt Disney World is truly the Happiest Place on Earth! I had soooo much fun this weekend at the parks. I've only been home for a couple of hours and I already miss the warm weather lol.
We were sort of dissapointed with our placement, but after about an hour or so we decided that it was an accomplishment to have made finals at a National Competition and we all had fun for the next over 24 hours.
I LOVE DISNEY! I'm sad that I never get to compete there for show choir again. To end the post with a show pun (for those who have seen our show), this weekend was..... "The Best I ever had!"
Congrats to Milton and Waconia for both of you stepping up your shows beautifully! It was awesome to be down there with all of you and watch how great both of your shows came along. Your work, effort and dedication are VERY much appreciated, and I was truly proud to be involved with both groups.
Also, congrats to Highland on a truly amazing finals show and a well-deserved Grand Championship. Great vocals, and Woody did some incredible work with all of you! By the way, ask him about the time I rolled a piano over his big toe! God Bless, Damon Brown
