Their show is:

Opener: "Hung Up" (Madonna)
Second: "Ive Got You Under My Skin" (Pick a jazz singer and they've done it)
Ballad: "If I Told You" (Wedding Singer)
Fourth: "Pop" (Wedding Singer)
Closer: "It's Your Wedding Day" (Wedding Singer)

Hey Mundelein what's you show I was unable to see it...but joe mentioned "Wedding Day" as one of your songs...it the the song from the musical Wedding Singer? If so I LOVE that song...

Congrats to all competing choirs...and Luers Thanks for having us in such short notice...really was a blast mixing the 2 competitions!

And I forgot to mention, I don't think I've ever had a host school cheer for us so much either! Our closer was punctuated by claps and cheers every chance the audience could get both times, and it was not anywhere near just the kids from our school -- those cheerers down front were from Luers. It meant a whole lot to us.

This was a great competition to be at for half the day. Our hosts were great, especially for only learning that we were gonna be there earlier that morning. Everybody was so friendly and helpful. I think it was great to be a part of the history that is the Bishop Luers competition, and I loved being announced by the voice that I've heard on all the old Luer's shows from the 70's and 80's on Youtube .

As far as shows go, I only got to see Mundelein and Luers.
Mundelein - Your opener and entire closer were awesome. I think "Wedding Day" is one of my favorite songs of the year, very entertaining. You guys truly deserved the GC.
Luers - The number with the picture frames and the guy's canes was so cool. It was just so original and out there... I still can't put my finger on it but it was just amazing to me. The Tarzan closer was great, you put on a great show and an even greater competition.

I definitely have to agree with the rest of the lot from Lehman-- our hosts were awesome (I hope Joe and Brady appreciated us cheering for them in their performance!). Three other members of my choir and I had to come late because of Science Olympiad and Joe was waiting at the door for us...now that's what I call service with a smile Thanks again.

We felt right at home in the Catholic school atmosphere and performing in a gym, which I've never done at a competition before. Thanks to everyone who kept the contest running smoothly-- one of the best I've been to in my three years. Also, I'm so excited because our director definitely wants to come back again next year!

The Indiana competition was quite an experience for us from Ohio, but an awesome one at that! Of the few choirs I saw-- Anderson and Bishop Luers, you all were awesome!

Thanks again for such a great competition. Everyone in our choir had a blast! Hope to see you all again next year.

Major agreement with "hosts were amazing." I don't think I have ever been treated so well at a competition before! The decorations were amazing and they actually made us a cake! There was also a personalized bottle of bubbles for every member of the choir, crew, and combo, and a cup of candy for everyone in the Lights room. (Which was delicious, by the way.) Then when Sound had performed last and went first in finals, they brought a tray of fruit to the room so we'd have something to eat even though we didn't have any time to go to the cafeteria. Better than a hotel.

The first aid was even top-notch, as some of us found out... blushing.gif

I just want to say I had a lot of fun yesterday. It's the first competition I've been to this year where I've actually been able to see other groups perform. Mundelein I saw your show during the day and LOOOOOOVED it... The opener was amazing. Probly my fave opener from this year. Cory Rawson you kids were so much fun. It's always fun when we can make new friends at competitions. Our hosts were amazing. I can't wait to see you Bishop Luers kids in a few weeks. Congratulations Mundelein, Northrop, and all other competing choirs yesterday.

Tyler.
