Adding to this, today was the first time since Cedar Rapids Washington 2011 the Millenium lost Best Vocals, which was 16 competitions and four seasons of vocal dominance.
I was at MoShow that year, and I TOTALLY had Waukee with Best Vocals. They were singing GREAT that year. Just were super sloppy visually.
Way to go riverside! Fun fact: in Riversides last 16 competitions, they have won 14 best vocals. The two that they lost both happened to be at nationals in Nashville. WHOOP WHOOP!

It is absolutely INSANE that they were able to create and sustain a massive streak of such a high caliber award over multiple years. Major props to them and the program for being able to do it, let alone do it in arguably one of the most competitive states in the country. Hastings might have swept but from what has been said and what I know about Waukee, I'm sure it had to be close. (not trying to take anything away from Hastings, I'm sure they were amazing)
