also-- best female soloist went to a girl from elkhorn excel
best male soloist went to a boy from omaha northwest
and the fuglei award (best performer basically) went to a girl from elkhorn excel! sorry I don't remember names!

also the judges were
steph Hyatt
Zach bjornsen
Luke Johnson
and I can't remember the other two

Best Female Soloist - Jessica Butler
Best Performer - Emily Adams

I don't know the name of the best male soloist though, sorry!

However, on behalf of Excel, thank you for all the kind things you (and anyone from your school) have said during the competition and afterwards It was a pleasure to share the stage with you guys, and I am so glad to have seen you guys perform such a phenomenal show, your ballad was literally amazing! Congrats on a fantastic season!

Elkhorn Excel was phenomenal. Not only on the stage but they were so kind and genuine off stage as well. Their show is AMAZING and it ranks with one of my favorites of all time. Congrats Excel, you're fantastic.

ps-- pius x was really good too! I loved their show! props to them.

What is Elkhorns show about?
It's literally perfect.... It's a show about growing up and cherishing childhood but I guarantee you will cry 3 times. They could easily get grand champs

I find it funny how we are placed lower after almost every prediction. Nothing wrong against peoples' opinions, but we'll see how close your predictions match up at the competition. GISH is ready to put up a fight! I'm so ready for a great day! See you all there!

Lovely, thanks for the schedule! It's been added above. Looks like a good mix of groups. Although, first group on stage at 7:25 AM. Wow, that's early especially with awards probably around 10-10:30 PM.

Also out of curiosity why isn't GISH bringing their women's group? It looks like they've only attended one competition this year.
