Thanks, Mr. Childs & Kim. Certainly very helpful! I'm sure there were captions, too, maybe some of the Anderson folks that regularly visit will be able to add that extra stuff.
Plus side is even though it's a long day, it's still scheduled on the half hour. You run into time problems when you schedule shows on 25 minute increments and you allow 25 minutes timed to set up, perform, and tear down. When that happens two groups that go the full 25 minutes without counting entering and clearing the wings will destroy the entire day...there's a little breathing room here. I'm sure it'll be a great, well-run day!
And Jeff...we can ALWAYS use more Indiana show choir.
Thanks, Darren, for the schedule. It's been posted above. Just what we need, right? Another Indiana show choir competition… just kidding. Good for Anderson for hosting a competition this year!
But for real, I feel bad for Anderson Prep "Bel Canto" … they basically start at 6:50 AM?! Final awards at Midnight?! And that is if the event is running on time! Props not only to the attending choirs, their directors, and the parents, but also to all the volunteers at Anderson High School. This is going to be one LONG day!
Finals look like 3 Single-Gender, 5 mixed, starting at 7.30 and running on the half hour until Vocal Infusion performs at 11.30, final awards at midnight.
