A HUGE thank you to all the choirs that participated today! While the weather was NOT ideal and there were other competitions in close proximity, we soooo appreciate you coming to BD! Congrats to DeKalb!
Thanks, all, for the placements. Congrats to Dekalb & Luers for sending two show choirs each to finals, Grove City for representing Ohio, and everyone else who competed today at the Summit Invitational!
Congrats to Dekalb and Busco for their big nights! I thought Luers should have placed higher due to their outstanding vocals but I digress. Great day at Dwenger.
5RU: Reigning Knights
4RU: Sound Sensation
3RU: Touch Of Class
BV: Classic Connection
BC: New Era
2RU: The Minstrels
1RU: New Era
GC: Classic Connection
Thanks for the clarification everyone. I can see how it's complicated when two sets of finalists are from the same school and that creates scheduling problems in terms of warm-ups, performance, etc.
Best soloist and best vocals went to Luers' boys group. The soloist is Wesley H. I believe. Also, Luers Mixed and Churubusco have switched places in night show performance order.
Thanks for all the daytime placements - very comprehensive and it's been updated above. Quick question about the single-gender division… which Bishop Luers single-gender choir won Best Soloist and Best Vocals? I would assume "Reigning Knights" took BV since they're in Finals, but not sure about Best Soloist.
Not sure, they are a late addition and I do not have all their info yet. Can you put them in the category they were in last year? They participated last year. Thank you! > Added
Churubusco is joining us in the 2:30pm slot! Welcome! Looking forward to a great competition!
Thanks for the info. Will Churubusco be competing in the small mixed or large mixed division?
