If anyone goes and looks at the pictures of Highlights, I'm the girl who's onstage with the soloist during Military. (Aren't I cute  ;) )

yeah.....yall have fun in Martinsburg w/ the smallest stage on the East Coast.....lmao!.....no lie.....but they are or were some of the coolest people when we went up there and won it 2 years ago....then manchester went and won everything last year and then yall...good luck w/ that....but def a fun comp...just really small stage, cramped and somewhat awkward auditorium, but it's fun....

So, wonderful job at Manchester everyone! I hope you all enjoyed Midlothian's show (at least our mixed group ;) ). I was wondering if anyone knows the website of the photographer because I heard that the pictures were fabulous. So...ummm...yea....anyone know?

P.S. Good luck at Lee-Davis!! We'll be in Martinsburg, and I'm personally gonna miss seeing everyone. Shine!

good lord man.....you sound like yall have no more time to improve your show before the end of the season....yall have 1 week and 3 days to improve your show before yall are done......i would work my butt of and make everyone else do the same thing and do our thing the last two comps....but i don't see bird becoming a powerhouse....ouch....yall got an X at manchester.....now i know why yall are so down about everything....but it's show choir and it's virginia where anything can happen....and i'll use my one example agian....like when MBK beat Capital Swing at L-D 3 years ago....CRAZY!..BUT DON'T BE SO DOWN....or i'll beat you up for real this time.....

As far as Bird becoming a powerhouse....I know our girls will be stronger next year in both Reflections and Sudden Image. However, for the past three years (when Willie and myself joined Sudden Image), the basses have pretty much overpowered the other vocal parts...however with Willie and myself graduating this year...I think next year our guys won't be as strong as they usually are vocally. As far as dancing, Jonathan Walters and Jonathon Hughes will turn out to be leaders in the future. Anyways, I wish our group the best of luck in years ahead.

aww, thank you! Yea, Matt's voice rocks, we all know, haha! We're hoping our show choirs'll go to Kecoughtan...our chamber will be there definitely, but our director is undecided about show choir.

DL....haha Blake u couldn't do dat if u tried....lmao....nah j/p u know I luv u.....but TD will definitely turn into a show choir dynasty within a couple of year...just think, it took us two years to make TD a powerhouse, this year they've maintained that....and next year they'll be even better cuz dis set of juniors will have had TWO years to grow together and jell (Josue, Burk, Joel, Carissa and this year's edition of juniors...well, minus me,which kinda hurts cuz I miss u guys and I'm workin on comin back....it's just hard convincin mah mama dat Dale is just as good to graduate from as James River)...Bird and Monacan will become powerhouses in a couple of years, Manchester will regain that luster it had last year in a few years, Matoaka will be up to par with other show choir after havin a few years of experience under their belts, and James River, well, will just be there....good and all but they're already a show choir school, but the mentality of "teach the young" is not there and unless a group comes along that's hungry and wants to work, learn, and teach the underclassmen those same values, they'll never become the show choir dynasty that they could be....all in all, this year was pretty good, some groups disappointed me, some groups surprised me, but it was a fun year, just wish I was apart of it and not spectating from the sidelines.
