Am I correct in saying that this will be North St. Paul and Bloomington Kennedy's opening competition for the year?

Alright well, I don't know a few of these choirs but i think finals is gonna be really weird. I mean there are some for sure choirs i'm thinking but the rest is up in the air. Like Bloomington Kennedy's prep group East Side Swingers I heard is not looking anywhere as good as they did last year. Rhythm in Gold however is very good. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens!

It only makes sense. All of the girls from Bloomington Kennedy's prep are most likely in Rhythm in Gold which would make their group even better! Im excited to see Bloomington!!!

are you both going to be at eau claire?

Totino will be there. We're really excited. But we get a break this next weekend and will be preping for Eau Claire. I can't wait to see everyone's shows. I haven't seen Northern Lights, Bloomington Kennedy, Bloomington Jefferson, or Hastings yet this year. So I'm really excited for this compition. " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Thanks, I try. " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
I just hate people trash talking other groups and besides show choir is about seeing the other talent that other groups have. Otherwise, what's the point in show choir. The comps that you win aren't going with you after you're done with show choir but the people you meet through show choir are. I hope that every group that comes to Eau Claire brings their A game. I want to see every group at their best. I love watching other groups perform.

you're definetly right. I HEART show choir

I heard that northern lights is looking really good this year. Some of my friends saw them rehearsing and said they looked like they had alot of potential to do well this year.

I don't know what is gonna happen at this compition. I mean there are groups that you haven't heard of that are winning compitions. It's so hard to perdict for this one because there are so many good groups coming to this compition. I'm excited to see the talent and enthusiasm that all the groups bring.

Let me point you up towards Jeremy's comment. ^^
At Winterfest we only have the top 5 Varsity group (AA) and the top JV (A) group that goes into the finals....so maybe that should make things a lil more interesting for picks for finalists.

If I were to guess finalists, I'd say:

Altoona
Bloomington Jefferson
Fort Atkinson
Hastings
Holmen (class A)
Totino-Grace

in alphabetical order.
