After a six year absence, the Highland Singsational is returning! We are currently accepting applications for our invitational. It is set for Saturday, February 6, 2010. The neat thing about the contest this year, we are accepting small mixed and women's groups only. This gives the small mixed realm of show choir a chance to have an invitational that caters to just them. We are accepting the top five small mixed, top three women's, and top three soloist into finals. To qualify for this event, you need to meet the following criteria -
1. Have 30 or less students in your ensemble -OR- compete regulary in the small mixed division.
2. Your show choir program must be in its first FIVE years of competition.
3. There are NO limititations for women's groups.
4. We do make exceptions for groups that are small school but have more than 30 members in their group.
Please consider coming to our invitational! It has had great success in the past and we want to continue the great reputation that it has had. We have already had groups sign up and the sooner you sign up, the later your performance spot, so make the 2010 Highland Singsational a stop on your competition schedule!
