Yeah this one's not too easy to call. CR Jefferson seems to have good and bad weeks this season, so they could really end up anywhere. (I hope it's a good week you guys!) I haven't seen Bemidji or GCS this year, but I have a feeling Lacross is gunna pull away with this one.

I have not seen Janesville Craig or Bloomington Jefferson.

I'll only predict my top two...

Grand Champions- La Crosse Central
1st Runner Up- Bemidji

Best Vocals- La Crosse Central
Best Choreography- Bemidji
Best Band- La Crosse Central

I think the Choreography caption will be a tight race, but I can see Bemidji prevailing. Vocally, I've heard La Crosse Central, Cedar Rapids Jefferson, and Davenport Central live... and I think all three of them can beat Bemidji in vocals.

Umm...

GC: Bemidji
1RU: GCS
2RU: Waconia
3RU: CR Jefferson
4RU: Janesville Craig
5RU: Bloomington Jeff

Best Band: GCS
Best Choreo: Bemidji
Best Vocals: Bemidji

I agree with this.. I think its a toss up between Bemidji and GCS but if I had to choose I'd take Bemidji. Everything else is exactly how I'd have it.

I think he just was mistakenly omitted from the director's packet.

The 2009 Spectacular judges are Steve Albaugh, Nancy Allen, Bob Anderson, Anne Chapman, and Marty DeMott. Three will be scoring during the day, all will be judging finals. Our instrumental judge is Tim Hoffman.

When did Marty get added? I dont remember seeing him in the director info packet that was sent out? Is he just added, or replacing someone?

I'm really excited about this competition, but nervous for those enormous risors! I'm ready for some new competition mixed in with some rematches. It's also gonna be my last show choir competition...our ballad is gonna be hard to get through. I know it's early but any predictions yet?
