Are there any more groups attending, or is there possibly a full competition schedule yet?

Festival Division is for groups that meet any of the following criteria: 28 or fewer members; three years or less of competitive experience; members are primarily freshmen or sophomores; or school's student body population is 400 or fewer. The champion of this division performs in exhibition during the evening finals competition. This is a great way for smaller groups or newer groups to get a taste of performing at a big competition like this, but performing and receiving awards among groups that are more their peers. We've had several groups that, through the years, have started out in the Festival Division and then moved up to the Championship Division to compete.

Thanks!!!!

This will be my first time at Teays Valley. What is the difference in festival and championship classes?

There isn't an official complete list yet but I do know there are now 20 groups coming so far ( and for sure) and there will be 2 stages for the competition bc of the festival and championship classes. Also the championship stage will be much bigger, capable of holding much bigger sets. Its going to be a blast! I cant wait to see all the amazing groups!!!

holler everyone! sooo i know it's way far in advance, but does anyone have the complete list of who will be attending Teays Valley this year? i know Cuyahoga Falls is going (we might be good this year? i dunno, we're really up and down), but i was wondering who else would be there since i go to college only an hour away from there and would love to make the trip with some college friends, but i don't know if their alma maters will be competing. (heyyy run-on sentence.) anyways. if at any point within the next month or so anyone gets the full list, could you post it? thanks!

(ps. i'm sorry this makes no sense. i'm tired. )

i think garfield went one year that i was in the group, and i think it was the best cometition i ever went to. it had to be something like when i was a freshman, but ice always remembered this competition for some reason.

Just a word to all...

As an alum I really know that Teays Valley really cares about our competition and it always runs very smooth. I am sure it is going to be another great competition this year. Traditionaly it is the largest competition in Ohio and with more than 30 groups it has 2 stages for 3 divisons(Competition, Festival, and Ladies). With groups such as Findlay, Hurricane, Marysville, Piqua, Lawence Central, DeKalb, and many others it always holds a quality performance. I will be there and I hope your group will to. This Competition is going to be another good one, I promise!
