Rhythm and Gold was awesome last year. It's sad that you guys couldn't finish out at Holmen... heck, you could have beaten us. (Although I'm sure Old Abe appreciates having received 1st place) .. East Side Swingers not looking as good as last year? Hmm... I'm sure they're still pretty good? They were amazing last year. I've never seen a better A group.

i believe your hosts are Max, Jenni, Naomi, and James. They're great people and you guys should have a ton of fun with them.

See you in 2 days!

EDIT: For some dumb reason my profile isn't showing my correct number of posts (150+)...interesting, IT'S A CONSPIRACY I TELL YOU!!!

The more likely explanation is that you had to create a new account because your old one got deleted when the server crashed. Hence, all the posts you HAD made wouldn't exist anymore.

does anybody else have predictions before this goes down?

I'm thinking:

Class A: Holmen "Midwest Magic"

Class AA:
Totino-Grace "Company of Singers"
Fort Atkinson "South Street Singers"
Hastings "Riverside Company"
North Saint Paul "Northern Lights"
Bloomington Kennedy "Rhythm In Gold"

No order really

FORT= really good, in finals 95% for me. Beat Altoona at Viterbo
ALTOONA= good solid group with GOOD Soloists. Beat Holmen at Onalaska.
HOLMEN= Small group (12 or 13 people) often criticized for style of show. Beat Altoona, Fort at Viterbo.

Out out the three--regardless of past results I think in order it goes like this:

1. FORT
2. Altoona
3. Holmen

Just my opinion though.

I agree. I think depending on the judges, Holmen and Altoona could even flip flop.

And our host show on the 10th. Great lineup at that. GCS, Totino, Bemidji, both Bloomingtons, Papillion from Nebraska and Pleasant Hill from Missouri.

Not both Bloomingtons, Just Bloomington Kennedy, Bloomington Jefferson Connection can't make it because our band has a pop concerts that day and wouldnt be able to make it. But our JV group the Jive will be there.

According to my mutiple sources back home, they will be...in addition to Eau Claire...but I could have missed on in here.

Totino, Emmetsburg, and Sioux City.

speaking of sioux city, we have to represent Minnesota there for sure. and at winterfest i say minnesota TRY to sweep all the finals spots. that would be very interesting.

Sadly, I can't.
I wish I could. I don't think I'll get to see Hastings this year

Good luck to Totino and Hastings (my two fav. MN groups of all times!)

BTW, where is Hastings going?

Ana is basically the show choir queen.
You haven't witnessed how amazing she is until you actually sit and watch a full day of show choir with her.
