The Fort Guy is phenomonal...When he's hits it right it's amazing. It'll be close between Matt and him... Another thing to think of: At one of their comps(Linn-Mar?), Totino-Grace had a best male soloist...Just something to think about!

THANK YOU for putting Holmen Girls (CLASS A GROUP) in your predictions to make finals. We're all really looking forward to this competition and are really fired up
It's good to have support!!

This is difficult...but I'm going to have to go with these as finalists:

Bloomington Jefferson
Fort Atkinson
Hastings
Holmen (Class A)
North St. Paul
Totino Grace

It's way too close for me to guess at placements, I think.

Well the guy from Fort got a standing ovation during the finals at MG and a very nice applause during prelims. Honestly he does much justice to this song, as does your soloist too prolly.

um no offense, but i think we have best male soloist in the bag with Matt Sato singing Letters from War, the audience was crying at sauk. but i could be wrong cuz i havent heard the one your talking about

Just to add to my earlier information...
I'm very certain that the guy from Fort Atkinson will win Best Male soloist, because he performs the solo to a point where I think he sings it better than the actual singer...Collective soul I belive is the actual band that does it.
Anyways, Girls i'm not sure. It could possibly go to one of the Hastings girls from the opener?? maybe someone from a different group?? just not sure.

We're competing at Hastings on Feb. 10. You could make the 45-minute drive to watch us I got to see you guys at Sauk. You guys have a very fun show.

thank you, that seriously does mean alot coming from a super group. any pointers?

This is how I think that Winterfest will unfold.....

GC: Totino-Grace "Company of Singers"
1st RU: Hastings "Riverside Company"
2nd RU: Fort Atkinson "South Street Singers"
3rd RU: Holmen "Midwest Express"
4th RU: Bloomington Kennedy "Rhythm in Gold"
5th RU: Hastings "Divaz"

Captions:
Best Vocals: TG
Best Choreo: TG
Best Band: TG
Best Stage Crew (if we have it): Hastings

I'm basing my predictions off of what i've seen so far this year. I've seen 4/6 groups, groups i haven't seen being TG and bloomington kennedy. It should be a great competition though.

This competition is in Wisconsin. Wouldn't it be funny if all the finalists were Minnesota groups? Hahahahaha, oh man. They could make it happen too.

Haha, at Milton's invite there were no finalists from Wisconsin if I remember. There were 5 Iowans, 1 Minnesotan, and 1 Illinois group. I thought it was a little funny.

Lol, don't worry, that wasn't what I was getting at. Just that, it could happen though. Usually you have mixed states at a competition/in finals... But here it could end with all groups from a different state in finals. Which is hilarious.
