Ankeny showed up and were disappointed about the outcome. It's like death outside. We couldn't get a hold of Manteno, so they will probably show up any minute.
The "Big Dance" may be rescheduled to March 23 and 24.

Well I thought Ankeny was doing the Concert Choir Competition (that's what Steph told me) sooo I bet a lot of them are there....I don't know if that was going on still though.....cos nobody mentioned it on here.
With cancellations, I say it gives some other groups a shot at finals, that maybe would not have made it had Waconia and Western Dubuque been able to attend.
Agreed. Although, I really think it will only allow one group that wouldn't have to make finals. Western Dubuque placed 12th out of 14 at La Crosse Logan. They were about 80 points away from finals. And beat 13th place (Monona Grove) by .5. They used to be such a powerhouse, I wonder what happened.

does the name big dance mean that there is going to be a "big dance" party in someone's room???? cuz just to say, i would not mind that at all. haha. yea. i wish i could get out more and c more shows. could anyone take me with them??? except not this weekend im there, and next weekend, and i think the weekend after that. well nevermind then, hahaha, but i think it would be fun to road trip to another state and just watch groups perform, ya, whats it like???
There was a dance party in a room in 2004 cos people started it themselves. It was pretty much an SCC gathering I think. But it's fun to just go to a competition and watch all day (as long as the shows are interesting)
