question???

does the name big dance mean that there is going to be a "big dance" party in someone's room???? cuz just to say, i would not mind that at all. haha. yea. i wish i could get out more and c more shows. could anyone take me with them??? except not this weekend im there, and next weekend, and i think the weekend after that. well nevermind then, hahaha, but i think it would be fun to road trip to another state and just watch groups perform, ya, whats it like???

Yes the trophies here are good trophies, solid, not the flimsy plastic type-thingys most comps give out, and very tall.

Wow...Davenport Big Dance! I remember going to this competition back in 2002 to see my sister perform, with Bloomington Jefferson and Kennedy, CR-Prairie, Mundelein, Waconia, Totino, and Ft. Atkinson...unfortunately I have only about 4 memories from this competition:

1) The really big cylindrical trophies
2) Mundelein's kind of creepy opener (I don't remember what song!!)
3) The DJ playing really REALLY loud music
4) My sister's solo, of course...

Anyway, good luck Waconia! I wish I could make it down there again.

I'm so pumped for your competition!

I haven't been there yet so I'm really looking forward to seeing your school! I'm definitely looking forward to meeting a whole bunch of new people! So come and find me and introduce yourself..mmkay? If any of our hosts are out there in show choir land I would love to meet you. I'm SO excited I can barely contain myself! The competition sounds like it will be amazing. I've heard that all the groups attending are phenomenal so it should be intense! I'll see you all soon!!!
