These are all of the groups for the competition this year. The beautiful and new auditorium is not even being used, everything is in the barn... I mean gym.
I said last year that 2006 would be the first year that a Davenport show choir would make finals (refering to Central), and it did not happen (Central placed 8th, West placed 9th). I would hope 2007 would be the year this happens.
im thinking maybe pekin might be one of the groups? but not just the varsity competition is getting hit. the prep competition and the concert choir will take a hit too, because all of those groups brought at least one prep and a concert choir, except Troy and Urbandale didn't bring choirs....
OMG I loved this competition last year. I remember I took a wheelchair from one of our crew members who fell when she got off the bus, and I rolled around in it, and I was imitating the wheelchair guy from Scary Movie 2. "I CAN DO IT MYSELF!" Good times...
The final results were so heartracing. I loved it. I would love to go this year, but we're hosting our comp. on the same day. :-( Good luck to all of the returning groups!

I wish we were going so I could see all the sweet Ankeny people that I'm friends with......and by "all" I mean like 4 haha. Oh well, maybe I'll drive down to see it????? That may require a lot of energy.
