I think Millard North was disrespected in finals placements. They had one of the best live performances I've seen. 2nd runner up would have reflected their performance more accurately.

In my opinion, I think their lighting hurt them. At the start of it flashing, I wouldn’t have been surprised if it had induced epileptic shock. Lol. At one point it was flashing red while it appeared they were doing some of their more complex choreography. However you couldn’t see it. And finally during Amazing Grace they needed a bit more light to better make out their silhouettes. Otherwise, I thought they were vocally better than Valley(who were great by the way) and Centennial whose vocals underwhelmed me only because I know how much talent that school has.
Loved all the performances on Saturday! So excited competition season is finally here. All the finalists were amazing!!! Felt the judging was very accurate. Wanted to give a shout out to Johnston's mixed prep group SYNERGY who swept the prep division then made it to the finals! WOW you guys came out of nowhere and floored us!!!!! Synergy put on a polished and entertaining show very much worthy of their 4th place FINALS finish! I was inspired!!! I can't wait to see it again!!!!!
Johnston Innovation, let this be my vow to never doubt you again. Phenomenal. And Spectrum, this was the first time I have seen you live, and I finally understand the hype. Incredible. What a fantastic showdown, I loved every second of it.
Johnston was so ridiculously and meticulously clean in every aspect of their show, it was very impressive. And man that Spectrum wall of sound that they can conjure up at any point is just awesome
Daytime placements and finalists posted in performance order. Johnston is ahead and took Best Band going into finals. Not sure if there were any other prelims captions.
