For all those involved I would like to apologize for any hurt feelings by recent posts. We appreciate showchoir.com and the people who spend countless hours to create a forum for people in the show choir community to connect and share ideas. As the director of Loveland Show Choirs I would like to thank Beavercreek for a wonderful and well organized competition this past weekend. The day went great even with the challenges of mother nature. In Loveland we work to support other programs like the wonderful groups we saw this weekend. Our goal is not based on Trophies but the enrichment of students and their performances. I am sorry that the recents posts do not reflect our core show choir values. We caution our students and families to be careful of their posts on Social Media and to make sure they are positive in nature. I hope that the posts were meant to be supportive but may have come across as negative. The three groups did tie for the daytime awards which was when the award was given out. Congratulations to all of the groups that competed this weekend and the very best on the rest your season.

He was listed but wasn't at the competition. Katie Arbors took his place.

We apologize for any frustrations you experienced with the Livestream. We worked all day long with our 3rd party to keep it up. There were so many thousands of people live streaming, it kept crashing the server. The numbers were phenomenal.

Thank you so much for you hard work and dedication I’m very greatful so please don’t take this suggestion as hate, but next year if possible try streaming though YouTube, the severs on there seem to be more reliable.

Sad to see so many negative comments on here. A livestream is a privilege. We’re lucky these competitions even happened today because of the weather.

They're a lot harder to do than people realize, and it's true - like far too many things, we take them for granted (especially when they are free). I hope my particular comment wasn't perceived as negative - as someone who adores live video production, I have nothing but respect for people who make the effort (I mostly wanted to reply to the copyright question).

Sorry but I don't see anyone being negative. I read frustration. Many were hoping for some clarification. Many parents couldn't make it because of the weather and it's great to be able to still watch your child and support your group. I am thankful for the schools that provide it but frustration doesn't always mean negative.
