So Lincoln East didn't make finals here which is surprising. But I heard they had a 3rd, a 4th, and a 15th from the prelims judges. Is that right?

My first prediction of the season! YAY! I've seen little to none of these groups shows, so this will be mostly based on how I see these groups placing after last year.

GC - Sioux City East "The Headliners" (BC BB)
1RU - Papillion-La Vista "Free Spirit" (BV)
2RU - Sioux Falls Washington "Classic Connection"
3RU - Norris "Gold"
4RU - Grand Island Senior High "Ultimate Image"
5RU - Lincoln East "Express"

Y'all, this was a hard one. I didn't realize how stacked this competition was until I tried writing this! Elkhorn South "Blackout" and Elkhorn "Excel" are two groups I could definitely also see in finals. They have consistently been amazing choirs throughout my time in high school, and I'm excited to see how they do here. I guess it really depends on what the judges are looking for on Saturday! The fact that I've had to edit who I think will make finals at least 3 times is a good indicator of how tight this competition is. Good luck to all competing! Unfortunately I won't be in attendance as I will be supporting my alma mater at Waukee, but I will for sure be keeping an eye on what is sure to be an amazing competition at Papio South!
