Does this event even matter anymore? Is it time to drop it or time to reinvent it so schools actually want to compete?

Nope I think it’s just basically an alternative comp for the groups that’s aren’t able to travel nationally or weren’t able to get a spot at noblesville. I don’t think anyone is actually want to go until they update the judging

It matters a lot to the schools that choose to compete. Not every school has the resources to travel nationally.

Um, you might want to check the lineup at Noblesville - Only Ben Davis, Brownsburg, Northrup, and Carroll competing at Tier 1. That's a much less competative competition.

I know I was just trying to point out that issma has its flaws, I was trying to say issma didn’t completely matter to anyone, in fact I’ll be attending this comp mainly because I haven’t seen Avon and Plainfield yet and I’m unable to travel to any of the national comps

No it’s not. Not compared to this line up. Noblesville will get Carmel and Cg state will never see cg. Or zionsville. They’ve never attended. State for the most part, always has very diff results than other issma contests. Still rem ppl walking out in 2015 after fc singers were called 1st runner up. Those of us there, the entire audience collectively, knew judges got it wrong. Doubt if fc Carmel or zionsville will go again. They’re all at better comps today.

At least schools have to qualify for State Finals...all that's required for Noblesville is to write a check to reserve a spot: just another invitational

Can I confirm: $15 per session means $15 for Treble and a separate $15 for Mixed? I don't remember them doing it that way in the past.

Last year was:
$22 adults (all day)
$20 students (all day)
$15 adult (per session)
$13 student (per session)

I added the full day ticket info too. ISSMA appears to have three "sessions." Vocal jazz (Friday night), treble, and mixed are all separate sessions.
