Dylan Carpenter is the Assistant Director for the Nitro Showcats. He graduated from West Virginia State University in 2022 with a BFA in Music Performance with a Specialization in Vocal Performance. He was under the instruction and mentor ship of Randall Reid-Smith and Dr. Dirk Johnson. Dylan was involved in music programs around the department at WVSU such as concert choir and served as the vocal and dance captain for the State Singers show choir as well. Dylan has also made appearances singing with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra. Dylan is currently involved with the Charleston Light Opera Guild and will be appearing in Kinky Boots the Musical this Spring (2023). His previous roles with the Charleston Light Opera Guild include Ted Hinton in Bonnie and Clyde (2022), and CowboyBob/Bickle/Lyle in Footloose (2022).
