Mr. Sam Schroeder is a choral music educator hailing from Le Mars, Iowa. After graduating high school in 2011, he attended the University of South Dakota in Vermillion and graduated with a Bachelor of Music with a specialization in education summa cum laude in December 2015.
After graduation, he substitute taught at various school districts in Northwest Iowa before moving back to South Dakota, and taught K-12 Vocal Music in Parker, SD from 2016-2019. He then moved to Omaha, NE in the summer of 2019 and started teaching at Lewis Central that same year. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Doane University.
His teaching duties include the Treble Clef Choir, Bella Voce, Company, Music Appreciation, and assisting with Singcopation, and the spring musical. He also assists with the middle school choral program. He is looking forward to continue building relationships with the students at LC and making lasting memories through music.
