Annette is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has completed work in dance education at UNC-Greensboro and Meredith College. In 1989 she was hired to start and direct the new dance program at her alma mater, Jordan High School in Durham, NC, for 9th through 12th grades. After three years in public education, Annette began a freelance career and has choreographed and adjudicated for schools and other educational and entertainment organizations from coast to coast including the Brightleaf Music Workshop and Performance Edge in North Carolina, Show Choir Camps of America, the Southern Utah Performing Arts Festival, Southern Experience at USM, the Macomb Center Show Choir Workshop in Michigan, and the Butler Summer Showcase in Kansas. She is the founder and director of Arts Mission, an organization dedicated to enriching lives through the positive impact of the arts.
