Rachel Warmanen is the Choral Director at Sam Houston! Prior to working in Arlington, Mrs. Warmanen worked as the Choir Director at McCarroll Middle School in Decatur, TX and as Assistant Choral Director at North Shore Middle School in Houston, TX. Choirs under her direction have earned sweepstakes at UIL concert and sight reading contest. Her choirs have earned top ratings at Deer Park Festival, Six Flags Showcase of Music, and Big ‘D’ Classic Festival. Mrs. Warmanen received her Bachelors degree in Music Education from Texas State University, and received a Masters degree in Choral Conducting from Louisiana State University. She is an active member of TMEA, TCDA, and ACDA. She lives in Euless with husband Jesse and daughter Evie.
