Brian Hargrave
Brian graduated in 2006 from Pittsburg State University with two bachelor degrees: Vocal Music Performance and K-12 Music Education.

Musically, singing and composing music are his passions, but he has also been playing the drum set for almost 30 years, and guitar for over 20 years. He also has enjoyed tuning pianos for over 12 years. Brian began teaching in Lamar, Missouri in the fall of 2006, and has been able to build a program there, as well as continuing excellence in Carthage, Missouri.

?In performance, Brian began his career at the age of 9, by being a part of the townspeople in The Music Man for a professional production in Kansas City, starring William Katt. Other leading roles for musicals include Bye, Bye, Birdie; Oklahoma!; Guys and Dolls; Grease; and Carousel. Brian has also had training in film composition at NYU with Mark Snow, and has performed with composer John Leavitt on the main stage of Carnegie Hall in New York City. Brian enjoys singing Barbershop Style, an American born, 4 part a cappella singing style. He sang bass for Random Play, the 9th ranked Barbershop Quartet in the 5 state area in 2016, and served as the Assistant Director for the TriStatesmen Barbershop Chorus based out of Joplin, MO for several years.

In life, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, Regan, and 4 kids: Geoffrey, Emma, Zachary, and Molly. He enjoys puns, telling bad jokes and making people laugh.
