Jim Berry graduated from the University of Iowa in 1992 with his degree in Music Education. He has been involved with show choirs in the state of Iowa for over 30 years. Jim has had the honor of directing the University of Iowa’s Hawkeye Marching Band & Old Gold Singers, Cedar Rapids Prairie’s Ambassadors, Iowa City West’s Good Time Company, Bettendorf High School’s Surround Sound, and Iowa City High’s Fourth Avenue Jazz Company. Music will always be a part of Jim’s life, but after teaching for 25 years, Jim now runs his own business. Jim and his wife Ann own “Berry Insurance and Financial Services”, and they are proud to serve the educational community.
Jim currently lives in Iowa City with his wife Ann, their two sons Austin and Jonathan, and their yellow lab Buddy.
