CAROLINE EDGETON is a professional music educator from Urbandale, IA. She currently teaches at Northview Middle School in Ankeny, IA where she directs the Treble Clef Choirs, 9th grade mixed choir and the 8th grade non-auditioned show choir, Ignition. Prior to teaching in Ankeny, she spent many years in the Waukee School District, where she worked as director/assistant director of Waukee’s varsity, prep and MS show choirs. She also helped create, execute the state’s first varsity-level treble group, Waukee Nova.
Caroline received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Drake University and has been a director, clinician and adjudicator of show choir and solo contests for over 10 years. She is married to another vocal music educator, Jon Edgeton, who is the assistant director of choirs at Urbandale High School. Together, they have two wonderful children and the sweetest pitbull in the world.
