Jazz Rucker completed his undergraduate work at the University of Missouri. He received his degree in Music Education under Dr. Wendy Sims, Dr. Marci Major and Dr. Paul Crabb. Jazz was the director of Mizzou’s premiere a cappella group, Add9 and has been guest conductor of Columbia Public Schools 5th Grade Honor Choir for 3 years. He serves as the choir teacher for Oakland and Lange Middle School as well as the Director of Vocal Arts at Battle High School. He enjoys being a clinician for choirs of all ages. Jazz started his public school teaching career with Columbia Public Schools as the Music Specialist at Lange Middle School in the fall of 2011.
