Lindsey Norine is a private vocal coach from West Des Moines, Iowa and choral clinician across the state. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Music from Drake University in 2014. Mrs. Norine was inspired by the mentors that shaped her as a musician and followed in their footsteps. She enjoyed directing various show choirs at Des Moines Christian School and now works as a clinician for many show choirs in the Des Moines area. Mrs. Norine’s experience also extends to her church, where she co-founded and conducted the Valley Church International Children’s Choir and leads worship vocally. She has been lucky enough to travel the world singing, having been selected as a Drake University Student Ambassador Musician to assist in doctoral studies in Shijiazhuang and Beijing, China (2011) as well as performing in select ensembles in England, Ireland, Wales, Avery Fisher Hall in New York City, The Grand Ole’ Opry in Nashville, and Disney World in Orlando. As a teacher, Mrs. Norine is passionate about promoting vocal health, proper technique, performance confidence, and using music as a tool to encourage personal growth and interpersonal connection.
