Mr. Michael Conley served as the Assistant Choral Director at Whiteland Community High School in Whiteland, Indiana, and two years as Choral Director at Rossville Middle/High School in Rossville, Indiana. He has also served as show band director and vocal clinician with Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis, IN. In just two years, the choral program at Rossville grew from 120 students to almost 200. Under his direction, all five Rossville Middle/High School choirs have experienced overwhelming success, including ISSMA Gold Awards at each ISSMA festival/contest attended, including several "With Distinction" awards, performances at the Field Museum and Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center in Chicago, placing first at the King's Island Music in the Parks festival in Spring of 2014, and most recently placing only 4 points away from making the 2015 ISSMA Concert Choir State Finals. Michael also has extensive training and experience in one-on-one vocal coaching, having had some private students himself, as well as frequently being called in to assist in private voice lessons with teachers Steven Rickards, Raena Faye Goldberg, Jo Trakimas, and June Claire. Michael graduated from DePauw University in 2013 with a B.M.E in Choral Music Education.
