Jeffrey Fahey has been the Director of Choirs at Los Altos High School since the fall of 2014. Under his direction, the choirs have earned top honors and awards at SCVA choir festivals and numerous show choir competitions, including recognition for best musicianship. Jeffrey was born and raised in Minnesota where he was fortunate enough to experience the great choral traditions of the Midwest. After graduating from high school, Jeffrey moved to Chicago to attend college, earning his Musical Theatre degree from Roosevelt University and his Music Education degree from Northeastern Illinois University. Jeffrey has taught all levels of music, from preschool through high school and has worked for the Archdiocese of Chicago in various churches as music director, section leader, and cantor. Before relocating to Los Angeles, Jeffrey worked with various professional theatres and choirs across the Chicago area as a performer. Jeffrey holds a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from California State University, Los Angeles.
