Cecelia Peace is a native of Virginia, having graduated from Hanover High School in Mechanicsville, Virginia, where she was a proud member of both show choirs and select chamber ensembles. She then studied Voice and Music Education at James Madison University where she performed with the esteemed choirs, The Madison Singers and Chorale, and also with Into Hymn, a contemporary a Capella group, with whom she served as Music Director for two years. After graduating with a Bachelor of Music Education, Mrs. Peace taught voice lessons and long term substitute taught before becoming a Choral Director in Hanover County and now Chesterfield county.
