Luke Frels has been the Choral Director at Fairfax High School since 2009-10 school year. He is passionate about music education and committed to giving his students a solid foundation in vocal technique, sight reading, and music theory. Under his direction, choral ensembles at FHS have developed a reputation for excellence, regularly scoring superior ratings at local, regional and national assessments. Choirs under Mr. Frels direction have performed at such notable venues as the Schlesinger concert Hall in Alexandria, Clarice ???Smith Performing Arts Center in College park, Maryland, at George Mason University, The Actors Chapel on Broadway, and at the White House.
