Michelle Braun has participated in over 60 different productions as a performer, director, choreographer, writer, vocal coach and arranger. She began her musical journey in Rockford, MI with a foundation of dance, choir and theater productions. She attended the University of Dayton where she participated in a diverse array of musical ensembles including University Chorale, Ebony Heritage Singers, Opera Workshop, Celebration Vocal Transit and was involved in several theatrical productions. She graduated with a major in Music Education with a Classroom Specialization in 2003.
Her journey then took her to Brockton, MA to serve with the Holy Cross Associates. While living in Massachusetts, she had the opportunity to perform with the world renowned Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops. Her teaching career began in Steamboat Springs, CO where she taught elementary music for five years. Outside of school, she performed with the Steamboat Mountain Theater, Emerald City Opera, Mountain Madrigal Singers and Steamboat Dance Theater. During the summers, she completed her Master's of Music Education with an emphasis in Kodály. She currently teaches classroom music at Pine Harbor Christian Academy and Kids Kare Center in Hastings, sings with the Minnesota Chorale and is excited to be involved in the Hastings Show Choir program.
