Josi Alexander
Josi Alexander is the Director is choral activities for Mansfield Timberview High School and the Fine Arts department head. She has been at Timberview for 7 years as head director. Prior to that, she was the director at TA Howard Middle School. The choirs at both have consistently won sweepstakes at UIL Concert & Sightreading competitions and superior ratings at festivals.

She has also worked in the Duncanville School district as an intermediate and middle school director. While in Duncanville, Mrs. Alexander was the District Coordinator for Music grades K-6.

In addition to 17 years of teaching experience, Josi Alexander has had the pleasure of serving as Children’s Choir Director for The Potter’s House Dallas as well as Friendshipwest Baptist Church where she is now currently a member. She has also served as musical director for several musical productions: The Wiz, Dreamgirls, In the Heights, Guys & Dolls, Tarzan, and Alladin Jr.

Josi Alexander is married to Minister Lourenco Alexander. Together they have 5 children with ages ranging from 2 years old to 24 years old. Her oldest son, RJ, attends a fine arts academy and is in the show choir there. Mrs. Alexander and her family currently reside in Grand Prairie, TX where she also teaches private voice, piano, and Guitar.
