Mr. Pettit, currently teaching high school Advanced Algebra, graduated with his Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Missouri Southern State University in 2016. While here, he was an active and leading member of MSSU’s Concert Chorale, Jazz Unlimited, Chamber Singers, and the Honors Program. His capstone senior thesis, "More Than Jazz Hands: Algorithmic Properties of Show Design" delineates a formulaic approach to show choir show design and its impact on competitive success. Additionally, Zachary works as a freelance choreographer, collaborating with award-winning show choirs across both Missouri and Arkansas as well as choreographing several high school and community musical theatre productions every year.
