Cristina Nordin
Cristina Nordin, an Illinois native, is the Vocal Director at O’Fallon Township High School in O’Fallon, Illinois. Cristina graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Millikin University in 2010. While at Millikin, Cristina was successful as both a music education student and vocalist, and had the privilege to study music education and conducting with two exceptional choral directors, Dr. Brad Holmes and Dr. Guy Forbes. Cristina sang with the university’s premiere choral ensemble, The Millikin University Choir, along with the university’s renowned vocal jazz group, One Voice.

Before coming to O’Fallon, Cristina taught general music and music appreciation in Edwardsville, Illinois, and is currently in her 5th year at O’Fallon Township High School. At OTHS, Cristina is in charge of four curricular choral ensembles, two vocal jazz ensembles, and serves as the artistic director for the annual Madrigal Dinner and Spring Musical. She is also the director of the school’s competitive, award winning show choir program. Most recently, one of her ensembles was selected to perform at the 2013 ILMEA All-State Conference in Peoria, IL. In addition, Cristina has served as a District 6 ILMEA choral representative and a District 6 ILMEA vocal jazz chair.
