Nancy Benko is currently the owner and designer for Reclaimery – a vintage repurposing company. A retired educator, she is the former vocal music director of the Twinsburg High School Mixed Chorus, Concert Choir, A Cappella Choir and the award winning show choir, Great Expectations. Her ensembles consistently received superior ratings at local, state and national competitions, including over one hundred thirty divisional and overall Grand Championships and specialty awards for vocals, choreography, soloists, show concept, instrumental ensemble and costumes.
Mrs. Benko is a graduate of Heidelberg College with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. She received her Masters Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Akron and has completed additional graduate study at Kent State University and the Pennsylvania State University, studying under luminaries such as Robert Shaw and Fred Waring.
A frequent clinician, arranger, and freelance choreographer, she has also enjoyed adjudicating show choir events in Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and New Mexico. Mrs. Benko resides in Rootstown, Ohio.
