Jana Deren is a freelance choreographer, dance tech, and color guard instructor hailing from Dudley, MA. An alumnus of Shepherd Hill Regional High School, she has performed with both of SHRHS's show choirs Illusion and Fantasy, the SHRHS marching band and winter guard, Sacred Heart Winter Guard of Roslindale, MA; and the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps, where she was a featured performer during their 2007 season.
Over the last twelve years, Jana has served as a member of the instructional staff for several local marching bands and winter guards, and has choreographed for various show choirs and show choir summer camps in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She is currently assistant director/dance tech for Shepherd Hill Illusion and Lowell Sound Impressions, and choreographs for Lowell Soundsations and Webster Middle New Attitude.
