Prior to his appointment at Gustavus, Dr. Dean completed the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in conducting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. From 2003-2008, he served as the Director of Choral Activities at Ankeny High School and was the director of Visual Adrenaline.
