Mrs. Jonelle Heaton has been the Plainfield High School Choral Director since 2000. Jonelle received her BS degree in Music Education, magna cum laude, from Indiana State University in 1978 receiving the Minerva Pepinsky Outstanding Music Student Award. Previous to Plainfield High School, she was a music educator in the Decatur County, Southwest Sullivan and Danville Community School systems, as well as the Plainfield Community Middle School. She completed graduate work at Butler University, Vandercook Music College in Chicago, Indiana State University receiving a MS in Music Technology degree from IUPUI.
