David made his Broadway debut at age 19 after graduating the Music Theatre Performance Program at Sheridan College. A proud member of The Directors Guild of Canada, ACTRA, Equity and The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, David is the current Associate Artistic Director of Drayton Entertainment, the third largest not-for-profit professional theatre company in Canada.
He has directed and/or choreographed projects for the screen including Deepa Mehta’s Bollywood/ Hollywood, The Republic Of Love, The Miss America Pageant, Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows and The Tenors’ PBS Special: Live from Las Vegas.
Before choreographing the pre-Broadway production of The First Wives Club Musical, David directed and choreographed over 50 musical theatre productions for the stage including the Canadian premier of Disney’s High School Musical. During his twelve years as creative co-producer and choreographer of MAC Viva Glam’s Fashion Cares benefit, David choreographed for artists including Katy Perry, kd lang, Patti LaBelle, Sarah Brightman and Gerry Halliwell.
