Trisha Scheidies
Mrs. Scheidies, a 2003 graduate of Miami University (OH), is in her 17th year of teaching, having taught for two years at Lawrence North HS before coming to Carmel MS. The choral program at Carmel Middle Schools includes over 300 students in 3 choirs that meet during the school. Additionally, there are two ensembles, Guys That Sing and Class Act, that are extracurricular. All of the students participate in four concerts per year and travel to the IMEA Festival & Clinic or ISSMA Organizational Contest in March. Her groups have performed at the National Middle School Conference, the Riley Donor Luncheon and in Disney World! The Carmel Middle School Show Choir, Class Act, appears regularly in the community in addition to attending competitions in February and March.

Mrs. Scheidies also plays a large role in the CMS drama club providing vocal direction and choreography for the fall musical. She received her Master's in Music Education in 2011 from Butler University and is a member of IMEA and ACDA. She recently served two terms as the Middle School Repertoire and Standards Chair for ICDA. She and her husband, Ryan, reside in Carmel with their son, Carter, and daughter, Harper.
