Aaron Childress is a 2002 graduate of Wabash College and is originally from Hanover in beautiful Southern Indiana. In 2005, he received his Master of Music degree and Initial Education Certification at the University of Kentucky and began teaching at Austin High School. There, he founded the award-winning show choir, Dimensions, and also directed and choregraphed numerous musicals and plays. Childress migrated to Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 2013 and has been the Director of Choirs for Churubusco Jr-Sr High School for the past four years. Under his direction, New Era has been very successful both in competition and in community outreach. In 2014, he and Missy Baughman founded the junior high show choir, New Generation, a group that has become known as one of the best of its kind in Northern Indiana.
