Marie is a proud Filipino-American teaching artist and performer based out of Los Angeles, CA. She is an alumna of both the Luther Burbank Middle School and John Burroughs High School vocal music programs in Burbank, CA and is in her 15th school year as a show choir educator. She began as a choreographer for all groups at both LBMS and JBHS while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Television Arts, Media Management from California State University, Northridge.
Marie has since choreographed and coached middle and high school show choirs across the country. When not teaching, Marie is a proud AEA union member and can be found on the theatrical stage. Favorite credits include: Lincoln Center Theatre’s The King and I (1st National Tour), The Prom (1st National Tour), Hamlet: The Rock Musical (World Premiere), In The Heights, The Little Mermaid, Miss Saigon, How To Succeed..., Hello, Dolly!, and more!
